(Phoenix, Arizona) — During the course of the protests surrounding President Donald Trump’s rally in Phoenix on August 22, the question, “Who is on the right side of history?” was the overall theme on opposing sides.

Despite attempting to record video of both sides of the protest, Phoenix Police kept them separated and blocked from each other, making it difficult to document the demonstrations in a more balanced way.

This video below is only a recap of the protest, rally, and riot that took place outside of the Phoenix Convention Center, where different groups both protesting and opposing Trump, as well as former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, gathered for several hours.

The demonstrations remained largely peaceful until the end, when Phoenix Police sprayed tear gas at some protesters following Donald Trump’s rally.
