In order to find employment, job seekers must not
only know the rules of the game but also remain
highly motivated in their job search, and use the
many and valuable resources available at places
like the Maricopa Workforce Connections. Faced
with different barriers to obtain employment, some
of the success in finding a job comes from being
knowledgeable about the strategies and
information that empowers unemployed individuals.
This story looks into the experiences of three job
seekers as well as the barriers they each face as
they try to find a job in Maricopa County.
